We take a stand – BLACK LIVES MATTER!

We at Peer Support Coalition of Florida want to loudly state that we stand with the Black Community and shout Black Lives Matter. We are an organization that stands against discrimination, stigma, and all systemic methods of oppression. We stand for equality and justice and we promote and support others in doing so. One of our values is that we embrace Diversity because we understand and honor cultural differences. We want to uphold our values in all respects. To remain silent would be to remain compliant with the inequality and injustice that the black community continues to endure. To quote Desmond Tutu, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse, and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality.”

So, we speak out, Black Lives Matter!
