Participants will have the opportunity to build and practice new engagement skills.  Session 1 will help participants understand the drivers of health inequities Session 2 clarifies what the Racial Justice and Mental Health Recovery movements mean for peer support services.  Session 3 discusses helpers, healers, and jailers helping us understand the difference while choosing a path forward. Session 4 gives instruction on implementing a frameworks for culturally relevant peer support services.  Session 5 helps put all the pieces together so that peer support specialists and their organizations will be fully equipped with a framework to provide more effective, culturally relevant peer support services.    Download the Flyer   Presented by Achara Consulting
