This session's featured speaker is IMANI BADIE

Session Title: Personal Growth Through Healthy Boundaries

Imani-M-Badie from Philadelphia, PA is a celebrated committee leader in the 3rd
ward and represents over 600 families. Her personal and professional experience
in the people business has led to several leadership opportunities. Educationally, 
she holds a collection of certificates spanning several areas of expertise. In 2023
she underwent inclusive training through FREDLA and attained the esteemed
designation of Family Peer Support Specialist. Furthermore, her profile
encompasses the roles of Certified Peer Specialist, Lived Experience Consultant.
Her past experiences include working for the House of Representatives, Project
Coordinator and Pharmaceutical Assistant. She enjoys speaking and teaching
others as they navigate their life journey. Imani uses her personal and
professional lived expertise and experience to help others challenged by life's
adversities. She is very passionate about helping and supporting those impacted
by homelessness, mental health and substance abuse. Presently she is a
Community Recovery Specialist at the Bewell Behavioral Health Center @ Girard
Medical. She uses her story of overcoming obstacles to inspire others on their healing journey.
