Recovery Planning: Using the Recovery Capital Scale

The goal of this course is to increase the capacity to develop and deliver uniform Recovery Planning, using the Recovery Capital Scale Assessment for Peers. This course is required for all peer workers in the State of Florida.

Overall Training Outcomes: 
  • Increase knowledge, skills and, attitudes of peers and their utilization of Recovery Planning and the Recovery Capital Scale as part of their Scope of Practice.
  • Use Recovery Planning to assist people with behavioral health conditions to achieve and sustain their wellness and build meaningful lives for themselves in their communities.
  • Integration and adoption of best practices for Peers in the provision of recovery support services.
  • Use as a strategy for implementing relevant sections in the upcoming ROSC and Recovery Management Guidance Document.

   

 The 1st day of this training is content presentation. The 2nd day consists of practical application for skill building.
