Florida hires a Mental Health Coordinator to help people recover from natural disasters

Social Worker, Darcy Abbott became the mental health coordinator for disaster recovery last year. She was hired by the Florida Division of Emergency Management. According to this article, Darcy’s job is to work with state agencies, relief organizations, and private counselors to coordinate services.
