Federation of Families: August CRPS Training, (1 in-person, 4 virtual sessions)

Event Details

The first day of training will take place in-person.  The remainder of the training will be virtual.  You will get the link and training materials at  the in-person meeting.

The CRPS designation is an entry-level mental health credential for person’s who use their lived experience to assist individuals achieve and maintain recovery from mental illness. This training includes but is not limited to:

  • Certified Recovery Peer Specialist: The Basics
  • Collaboration with Families, Providers and Agencies
  • What is a System of Care?
  • Wraparound Values and Principles
  • Ethics and Confidentiality
  • Cultural Competence
  • Trauma
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Establishing a Successful Support Relationship
  • And much more!
