Core Skills for Peer Coaches To be effective, Peer Coaches: Have completed their own recovery and well-being journey, demonstrating resilience and hope Share their experiences thoughtfully to foster connection Are educated in peer support, coaching concepts and evidence-based interventions Use creativity and empathy to meet people where they are Pursue formal certification when required
