| Our presenter for April is Jennifer Randal-Thorpe Jennifer Randal-Thorpe is from Lafayette, Louisiana is the Chief Executive Officer of Meaningful Minds United, Inc.  She is a 1987 graduate of The University of Louisiana with a bachelor’s in applied sciences, certified as a Counselor in Training with The Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers and is a Recognized Peer Support Specialist with the State of Louisiana.  Jennifer is an Educator in Emotional CPR with the National Empowerment Center and is a former member of The National Suicide Action Alliance Panel.  She has received national recognition with The International Bipolar Foundation, The Mental Health Innovation Network, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and The College of Behavioral Health Leadership, an is a member of the community-based stakeholders and advocate’s advisory board for The Lancet Psychiatry Commission on Psychoses and the Louisiana Peer Action Advocacy Coalition.
