NAMI PINELLAS FL Recovery Planning- 2 Day Training *SUNCOAST Region ONLY

Must be a part of CFBHN/ Suncoast Region to be approved for this course. The goal of this course is to increase the capacity in Florida to be able to develop and deliver uniform Recovery Planning, using the Recovery Capital Scale Assessment for Peers. This training is sponsored by DCF and CFBHN.

MUST BE associated with the CFBHN/ Suncoast Region to qualify to attend this training. 

 

Overall Training Outcomes: 
  • Increase knowledge, skills and attitudes of peers and their utilization of Recovery Planning and the Recovery Capital Scale as part of their Scope of Practice
  • Use Recovery Planning to assist people with behavioral health conditions to achieve and sustain their wellness and build meaningful lives for themselves in their communities.
  • Integration and adoption of best practices for Peers in the provision of recovery support services
  • Use as a strategy for implementing relevant sections in the upcoming ROSC and Recovery Management Guidance Document.

Full participation is required which includes cameras on with participation in discussions and breakout sessions. Day 1 consists of content presentation and discussions. Day 2 consists of practical application for skill building. Participants cannot be working or otherwise preoccupied. Please do not register if you have taken this course within the last 2 years as we need to keep this training available for those who are required to take it and have not yet done so.

This training provides 12 CEUs. Attendance Policy and Virtual Learning Etiquette.
